I love old buildings and especially old barns.  This is the second drawing of one in Old Town Murrieta, CA..  The first version, “'B'” Street Barn", I liked, but felt the placement made it too large for the paper.  I could have done better if I had showed more of the near side wall, so that is what I did in this 12” x 18” graphite drawing.

     "Old Shamel Ranch Barn" was entered in Southern California Fair in Perris October 2019.  Won first place in amateur adult architecture drawing category.  Judge’s comment:  “Beautiful”.
